Social publishing meets Haiti relief efforts with a new book, “100 Stories for Haiti,” author Greg McQueen’s effort to raise money for the Red Cross. And how long did it take to put this book together? Just six weeks. Mark Coker, founder of Smashwords, calls the book “a cool example of how social publishing tools such as Smashwords,
combined with social networking tools such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube,
can enable the spontaneous creation of quality books.”
