37Signals

In the business world nowadays, there is software to do virtually everything from routine bookkeeping tasks to converting PDF files. However, it is debatable just how accessible these complex programs are to the everyday individual or small business owner. To combat this problem, 37signals has created several simple, entirely web-based applications that help users do everything from facilitating project management between team members and clients (cannily named the Basecamp application), to accessing to a real-time chat software for groups called Campfire. With a simple and elegant interface as their top priority, 37signals has garnered widespread praise for its user-friendliness. Continuing in the same vein of promoting software for everyday people, 37signals’ product blog highlights instances when their software is utilized effectively by real users. There’s no better feedback than that.
