Twitter Tip: Stick to the limit

Twitter operates under the restriction of 140-character updates, so try to stick to that limit. Sure, there are times when 140 characters just won’t cut it, but if your tweets are consistently exceeding the limit—if, that is, you’re using multiple tweets to say what you’ve got to say—then you might consider a different outlet for your thoughts. An email, maybe? Or a blog post? Hey, maybe you’ve got a novel you want to write… In short: Keep your ideas confined to single tweets. If your update needs to be split between two or more tweets, again, you might want to consider writing it up somewhere else.
